Carlo R. Besenius, CEO & Chief Global Strategist

Mr. Besenius has over 42 years experience in the global investment banking and securities industry.

Prior to founding Creative Global Investments LLC in 2002, he held positions in New York as executive director with Banca IMI/San Paolo Securities, Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Lehman Brothers, Smith NewCourt and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he was responsible for developing and managing their US international institutional equities sales divisions.

Mr. Besenius started his career in the financial services industry in Luxembourg/Europe in 1983 with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant, servicing European institutional clients in various product areas before he moved to the US, where he worked and resided for 25 years. Mr. Besenius has been responsible for the successful distribution and allocation for the US tranches of more than 450 equity capital markets transactions (IPO’s, secondary offerings and private placements) with origination on 5 continents and in over 55 countries, and totaling over $450 BN in assets raised with top 250 global institutional investors.

As a respected global finance industry veteran  Mr. Besenius has been published in Barron’s Magazine, the NY Times, Forbes, Fortune Magazine, Tech Fortune, Street Insider, WallStreet Transcript, Business Week, Nasdaq Investor, Silicon investor, The Globe and Mail, Times of India and Handelsblatt. He has been a regular guest on CNBC and Bloomberg TV and other financial news networks in the US and Europe.

Mr. Besenius has served on the boards of various financial services companies in the US and Europe, such as Chairman of the Board of SWAG, a financial services company in St. Gallen, Switzerland, and Chairman of the Board of Debt Remedy of America Inc., an Orlando, FL based Debt Settlement company,  Board Director of ElaborX,  a Swiss MTS,  and BOD of IIP SA,  an International Investment Platform.

Mr. Besenius studied Corporate Finance and Economics in Europe and the US. He is perfectly fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish, and conversational in Spanish.
