Carlo R. Besenius, CEO
Mr. Besenius has over 23 years experience in the global investment banking and securities industry.
Prior to founding Creative Global Investments LLC in 2002, he held positions in New York as executive director with Banca IMI/San Paolo Securities, Arnhold and S. Bleichroeder, Lehman Brothers, Smith NewCourt and Deutsche Bank Securities, where he was responsible for developing and managing their US international institutional equities sales divisions.
Mr. Besenius started his career in the financial services industry in Luxembourg/Europe in 1983 with Merrill Lynch as a financial consultant, servicing european institutional clients in various product areas before he moved to the US, where he worked and resided for 20 years. During those 20 years Mr. Besenius has been responsible for the successful distribution and allocation for the US tranches of more than 250 equity capital markets transactions (IPOs, secondary offerings and private placements) with origination on 5 continents and in over 40 countries, and totaling over $240 BN in market capitalization.
Mr. Besenius studied Global Economics in Europe and the US. He is perfectly fluent in English, German, French and Luxembourgish. Mr. Besenius is married and has three sons.
Jennifer R. Crisman, COO
Ms. Crisman has served as COO since 2002, she is responsible for client relationships, client service, administrative and operating issues.
Ms. Crisman began her finance industry career in 2000 at Invemed, an investment bank in NYC. There she was responsible for office management and administration for the Vice President and later worked as an analyst. Prior to 2000, she worked in the mortgage industry and office management for various companies.
Ms. Crisman then moved into Investor Relations and Communications with Jabil Circuit, Inc., a Fortune 500 company. At Jabil, she managed administration operations for investor relations, communications, media, and marketing, where she was a point person for investors and regulators.
Ms. Crisman studied art and history at SUNY in NYC and economics at the Florida State University. She is married and has three sons.
Mario J. del Pozzo, Director
Since 2003, Mario has been a Director at Geforin S.A., an independent asset management company based in Geneva. He is responsible for managing HNWI portfolios as well as a member of Geforin’s asset allocation committee. He is also in charge of business development for Southern Europe, i.e. Italy, Greece and Spain.
Prior he spent over 10 years in NYC capital markets, specializing in the fixed-income sector, both in the trading and sales side of the business.
He holds a BA in Economics from Vassar College and an MBA from Insead. He is fluent in Italian, English and has a good working knowledge of French.
Sabine CJ Blümel, Director of Research
Ms. Blümel has 19 years experience working as an equity analyst and economist in the City of London.
For the past 15 years, Ms. Blümel has specialized in the automotive industry and gained in-depth knowledge of all the major European automotive companies. She got to know the management teams of OEMs competing in the European car markets and developed a profound knowledge of their product offerings. Most recently Ms Blümel worked with Banca IMI/San Paolo (London branch) where she was also involved in investment banking projects for Fiat and the IPO of Cobra-Automotive technologies.
Ms. Blümel started her career as an economist with Morgan Grenfell in 1988, and subsequently worked for L.C.F. Edmond de Rothschild Securities, IBCA Corporate ratings and Crédit Lyonnais Securites.
Ms. Blümel holds a Master’s degree in Economics and a Master’s degree in Philosophy, both from the Ludwig-Maximilians Universität, Munich. She is fluent in English and German, and has a working knowledge of French and Italian.
